Monique Hobbs - CEO & Founder
When I founded Boy Mom Legacy Inc. in 2021, it was born from a place of both struggle and divine calling. During the COVID-19 pandemic, as I navigated the complexities of raising my
son while managing my career and personal challenges, I encountered countless mothers who were silently carrying the weight of raising boys in today’s world. I realized that while there are abundant resources for raising daughters, mothers raising sons often feel isolated, unsupported, and without a roadmap for nurturing young men who will become tomorrow’s leaders. This recognition became my calling to fill that critical void and create a community where boy moms can find support, resources, and sisterhood.
As a dynamic executive and cultural connector with over 25 years of leadership experience, I’ve worked with organizations like BET, Target, Lakewood Church, the Houston Rockets, and 50 Cent’s G-Unity Foundation. But my most important role has always been as a mother. Through Boy Mom Legacy Inc., I’m combining my professional expertise with my personal journey to create something transformative.
Our organization is rooted in faith, mentorship, and sisterhood. We believe that when we empower mothers, we strengthen families and shape future generations. Every program we offer, every event we host, and every connection we facilitate is designed with one goal in mind: to help you raise strong, emotionally intelligent, and legacy-minded young men. You are not alone in this journey. Together, we are building a village that supports, uplifts, and empowers. Together, we are creating a legacy that will impact generations to come. With love and purpose
